After the resignation of Monlam Lobsang from TVA's Director post, Rinchen Lhaze has been elected the new Director of TVA unanimously by TVA's Board of Directors. Mr. Monlam will however continue to be on TVA's Board of Directors and provide guidance to the organization's new leadership. Monlam joined TVA in 2005 as a volunteer and coordinator. Later in 2007, was appointed the (Managing) Director of TVA to administer organization's functions and campaigns. The meeting was chaired by TVA's board member Dr. Jamyang Gyatso. Dr. Jamyang thanked Mr. Monlam for his selfless dedication and hard work to spread the message of non violence, peace and respect for all the sentient beings.

TVA's annual reports along with financial reports were read out and the copies given to all the members.

Monlam served TVA for 5 years and TVA's Board appreciate and applauds his hard work, dedication and all his contributions resulting in the successful running of the organization so far.

TVA's new director Mr. Rinchen Lhaze is one of the founding members of TVA and has been actively involved in TVA's activities since its beginning. Rinchen turned Vegan on this day of his appointment and pledged to work towards achieving TVA's mission and goals. 

Rinchen is an alumni of Central University for Tibetan Studies, Sarnath. Rinchen is also a trained Para Vet and rescues stray dogs whenever he finds one on the way. He is one of the most hardworking member in TVA and one of the most active member. He has also produced and directed a movie called "One Day" - a love story with a social message.

The Board is confident that Rinchen will work hard towards achieving TVA's goals and mission.
