Eid
ul-Adha, also known as Bakri-Eid is a muslim festival when millions of
animals especially goat and sheep are slaughtered all over the world as
a part sacrifice ritual.
TVA organized prayers (Monlam recitation) at Sera Monastery,
Bylakuppe for the countless animals who were slaughtered on the day.
Similar prayers were also recited by the nuns at Jayang Choeling
Nunnery, Dharamsala on the request of TVA members.
May all sentient beings live in peace !
