Many Lamas Still cannot give up meat

Many Lamas in Singapore are still eating meat and enjoyed their meals with meat openly when they are in Singapore. On one hand they preached about loving kindness for all sentient beings and on the other hand they ate the meat/body of the sentient beings. Hope all the Lamas can give up eating meat and go vegetarian immediately. If a person really love animals/sentient beings, how can he find it difficult to give up eating their meat!
