Only a few close friends of TVA were invited at the opening ceremony which was followed by a small tea party. Mr. Tenzin Dhundup, Secretary, Dept. of Home, CTA was the chief guest for the event and inaugurated the office.

His Holiness during his last visit to Hunsur and Bylakuppe in January suggested to organize programs to teach the basics of Buddhism to the layman.

The main aim of holding this peace rally on the Budh Purnina is to contribute to the world peace where the sensitivity of the Human to other forms of life is highlighted.
TVA Administrative Office, Mysore (India), April 18, 2007: Tbetan Volunteers for Animals (TVA) held its Annual 'Board of Directors' meeting to discuss on various issues and plans to develop more effective program strategies. It was more like an Annual General Meeting as many issues other than the Board affairs were also discussed. The total duration of the meeting was about 12 hours as the meeting continued the next day.
